We're gettin' hitched

Valerie Peters and Andy Fox are getting married. It's a big process and we want to share it with all of you. Lucky, right?

Favors are complete. And if I never see another curling ribbon again, it will be too soon.
Becky and Brittany now have their dresses.

Lots done, lots to do

Sorry for no updates in awhile.

Stuff we’ve done! Picked a cake out.  It’s going to be awesome, and will look very, very cool.  Ryan is making us cake toppers out of sculpey clay because we can’t find anything in a cake topper we like.

Also, we have a DJ.  He comes with props.  There will be no chicken dance.  Just a heads up there.

That’s all we have for you guys, stay tuned.  About 3 months til the big day!

Ryan and Andy are the cutest. They’ve been on the phone for going on two hours, talking about their jobs, movies, and mostly technology. I know Andy misses Ryan as much as I do.
We started putting items on our registries at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target.
Started playing around with labeling and ribbon-ing the favors. I don’t think those will be as big of a project as I originally thought.

Just ordered my wedding shoes. Wanna hear the story about them?

I had been eyeing them on shoebuy.com for a while. A co-worker said she loves shoebuy for their free shipping and free return shipping, the selection, and because they always email coupon codes to her. So I signed up for their mailing list and thought I’d wait until the right sale came along to make my purchase. I then saw that they have a Twitter account and are doing lots of Twitter promos to engage new followers. I started following their account and even won their Tweet of the Day contest when I tweeted: “I think I might get my wedding shoes from @shoebuy. So many great choices!” They sent me a $25 gift card code for it. How cool! They definitely have a customer in me now. I used the gift card to buy my shoes and had to pay just under $25 out of pocket. I can’t wait for them to get here. And if they don’t fit or I don’t like them, I can just return ship them for free. Check out shoebuy.com. You can’t go wrong!

It took way too long to get him to smile and not make faces.
